Victas is a Japanese table tennis brand. The company began producing celluloid balls back in 1931 and developed into a manufacturer of a wide range of table tennis products in 1985.
For many years, the TSP brand was run alongside the Japanese brand Yamato Takkyu Inc. In order to make the brand appearance more uniform, the management decided in 2017 to change the company name to Victas. In 2021, the TSP (Total Support for Players) brand was integrated into the Victas brand.
At first this caused some confusion, especially in Europe, and many players were initially unaware of the Victas brand, but brand awareness has grown rapidly. Victas has top international players such as , and under contract and has also been the textile supplier to the Japanese men's national team for several years.
As one of the few brands, Victas has an extremely high reputation both in the area of pimpled inner rubbers and in the area of pimpled outer rubbers. A classic like the Curl P1V is already a legend in the long pimples sector and is used by many players worldwide. Thanks to its Japanese origins, Victas is one of the few brands that can rely on the expertise from Japan and the expertise from Germany when it comes to pimpled inner floorings and therefore has an enormously wide variety.
With the former world-class player Koji Matsushita as managing director, Victas naturally also scores points in the development of defensive table tennis blades. With the Balsa wood series, Victas also has a real classic in its range and also knows how to position itself perfectly in the area of high-quality carbon wood.
