For more than 20 years, we have been running the table tennis online shop spinfactory.de. But who is actually behind spinfactory? Here you’ll find an overview of our team:

Jan Matthes

48 years old
Certified Financial Manager

Co-founder & Managing Director

Jan is our communicator and jack-of-all-trades. In table tennis, he has been almost everything one can be: a high-level player and coach, retailer, and brand founder – and now a father of two table tennis-enthusiastic sons. Above all, Jan keeps track of new developments and trends that give table tennis a modern touch – and as a result, he's increasingly often found playing outdoor table tennis. He balances one sport with another: in summer, Hans diligently pedals away on his racing bike.

Jörn Haynold

49 years old
Dipl. Sports Scientist

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Jörn is the Head of IT. He ensures that our shops run smoothly and finds solutions to every problem. With a history of nearly 40 years in table tennis, he can draw on the greatest wealth of experience as a player and equipment expert. When he's not at the table tennis table himself, he also enjoys skiing in winter.

Janos Pigerl

33 years old

E-Commerce Shop Manager

Janos ensures that everything runs smoothly in our online shop and that your package reaches your home as quickly as possible. He is a passionate table tennis player and uses his free time at work to train diligently. In summer, he also enjoys playing tennis extensively. And one phrase holds true for him more than for any of us: A life without sports is unimaginable for him.

Benjamin Raquepo

28 years old

Store Manager

Benjamin, known to everyone simply as Benny, manages our local table tennis store in Cologne. He provides our customers with detailed advice and always finds the perfect equipment and the right words during consultations. Thanks to his extensive expertise in materials, he also plays a key role in developing our customized table tennis rackets. Alongside his work, Benny is also studying marketing and supports us with our social media presence.
